She hung up her heels to follow her passion in 2011, when she started a pet sitting, dog walking and training business, This Little Doggie Stayed Home. She loves helping people create a better connection with their pets and has grown from a one woman show to a full team of dog walkers serving the East Valley. She is passionate about giving back to community and helping those who selflessly always have our backs. In her off hours, Lindsey enjoys hiking, live music, spending time with friends and family and exploring new areas. She currently has a four-pack of dogs who assist her in rehabbing dog clients and keep her life exciting!

Lee was born in Illinois and grew up in a town that made Mayberry look like Gotham City. After completing college at the Colorado College for Difficult Boys, he was commissioned into the US Air Force and stationed in Los Angeles. Several years later he left LA with an honorable discharge, a jeep he still owns, a dream of being a firefighter, and the love of his life, Susie. Lee’s been in AZ for over 20 years and been a
firefighter for over 20 years as well, and still calls it the best job in the world. Lee’s pack is down to one because Ruger is a lone wolf and will not share Susie with another dog. When Lee isn’t living every little boy’s dream, he likes to BBQ, travel, and search for the perfect bowl of ice cream. His three nieces mean the world to him and he has never told them no.
Susie was born in New Jersey and moved to California with her family and their two cats at the age of 7. She graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo CA with a degree in education. Thanks to her mom, Susie has always had a love for animals and been surrounded by pets most of her life. While living with her family in CA they had cats, dogs, and horses. Her first job out of college was working at a veterinary hospital in Pismo Beach. Several years later she moved to Manhattan Beach CA and then to AZ with her husband Lee where she has now been for the past 20 years working in the field of Human Resources. Susie and Lee went a short time without pets and during that time became the go to house for pet sitting for friends. Then the day came they were lucky enough to welcome Ruger into their home. If Ruger was not an only pet kind of guy, Susie & Lee would probably have a zoo. She loves traveling, reading, exercising, and doing yoga in her free time. Being married to a veteran and firefighter for the past 20 years makes Susie excited about supporting the Everyday Heroes & Hounds cause.
